The TOC Story

Touch of Comfort Massage- at the Triune Clinical Center- offers high-quality, unhurried, professional, relaxation and therapeutic massage services at reasonable rates, in a community-responsible, information-rich, and supportive environment.  We believe that Life is a gift from God.  TOC is your provider of bodywork services and information, and a partner in your journey towards improving your wellness and life.  TOC supports regular clients with a periodic newsletter, complimentary research service, a lending library, special offers, discounts, and credits for their referrals. 

All massages are by Nationally Board Certified and Illinois Licensed Therapist Ross Vondrak, BA, MBA, LCMT, BCTMB, CSST, who has been in professional practice for 26 years.  He has completed nationally-accredited training from the Wellness Massage Training Institute, the Chicago School of Massage Therapy, the Soma Institute, and the American Massage Therapy Association® in a variety of modalities ranging from Swedish massage, Thai stretching and Pre-natal massage and other female-specific concerns, to Deep-tissue, Trigger Point work, Aromatherapy and many others. 

He has studied under World-Class instructors such as Ralph Stephens, Internationally known therapist; Mike Hovi, Soma Institute and past AMTA-IL President; Chuck LaFrano, Head Therapist for the Chicago Bears and Manager of the Heartland Spa; Leo Zuzga of Good Samaritan Hospital; Cheryl Chapman, Oncological Nurse and Massage Therapist; Ray Miller, former WMTI Owner, and many others.  Ross is an active, professional member of the AMTA, and has published "A Fieldguide to Essential Oils". He has supported a number of local non-profit organizations including the ADA, AHA, ALA; Diabetes, MS and MD research; CareNet, Hinsdale Food Pantry, LGBC Food Pantry, Airplanes for Jesus, Trinity Lutheran Church Community Clinic, MOPS, Lakota Native American Mission, and others.  He supports the community by returning 10% of his service time and income to charitable, humanitarian causes.
